Urban Studies journal & the Urban China Research Network - Doctoral Student Essay Competition 2019
Urban Studies journal (USJ) and the Urban China Research Network (UCRN) are delighted to announce the launch of a doctoral student essay competition. The intention of the competition is to promote emergent scholarship on urban China. The competition is open to doctoral students who have submitted papers to the UCRN conference in Nanjing (see our Latest News for submission details). The winner will receive a stipend of £200 sterling. The winner and shortlisted candidates will then be offered mentoring to support the development of their paper towards journal submission.
